Sarah
– Mind Coaching

Sarah* was part of one of my programmes. Here’s her experience.
*Sarah – not her real name. Names have been changed to protect identity.
Why did you choose to work with me and the VIP 90 day Programme?
I chose to work with you as I had attended a virtual masterclass and liked how you were down to earth, approachable, knowledgeable and sweary and spoke so much sense.
I was very unwell with my mental health after having a breakdown and although I knew that my anxiety would not have disappeared by the end of our time together I knew through your coaching that I would come out with some tools to help me even though some of them like journalling were too difficult mentally to tackle as I could not concentrate and was utterly exhausted.
I knew that counselling was not the right thing for me at the time and whilst waiting for mental health services I wanted to be accountable to someone and to be able to communicate with Tricia outwith our sessions.
I feel this was actually pretty fundamental in helping to ground me and with hindsight keeping me in this world as I was in a very dark place where I felt as though I didn’t want to be on this earth anymore. You helped me to see that although difficult I had already got through difficult days and I was strong and loved.
What were you worried about?
I was worried that I would be regarded as too ill and not be able to follow the programme (fear of being judged/not being good enough).
How have you found the programme?
The programme was intense and was a lifeline for me like someone throwing a lifebuoy when I was drowning in guilt and shame and self-stigma.
I have always struggled with offering myself self-compassion and although sometimes it was too hard for me to offer this to myself I knew that this had to be entwined in my recovery. I liked and needed the checking-in using Telegram and to set my intentions / tasks.
I desperately needed a cheerleader and so much of what Tricia said made sense as I felt like I was seriously mentally ill and would not recover whereas Tricia enabled me to see that perhaps my reaction was a sane response to an insane time (including working and living through the pandemic).
What impact has the programme had on your life?
It has been instrumental in the beginning of my recovery that is most definetly not linear! It has helped me to realise that it will be OK – to trust in the process and put myself first otherwise I cannot be there for others. Reminding me that I am WISE / COMPETENT and ABLE.
What helped you the most?
Helping me have a plan/timetable for each week and to be focussed. Considering mindsets and beliefs and manifesting about where I want to be and the importance of be/do/have and remembering thoughts-actions-behaviours.
I found EFT as a tool the most helpful moving forward as the physical action of tapping really helps me to release emotions that sometimes I find it difficult to name/process.
The knowledge that I wasn’t going to feel like this forever and the recognition that I have to practice self-compassion to help me to heal.
Looking at my triggers and being more aware of boundaries and my people pleasing nature and how this impacts on stress/overwhelm.
What was your biggest success?
My biggest success is that I am alive to type this feedback! Joking apart it is really as the greatest success there is for me and my family.
To recognise and take action to be more self-aware and realise when the capacity cup is overflowing. Knowing my main triggers and that regular checking in with myself and my emotions.
How did you find working with me?
I loved working with you as you were my champion / advocate when I felt I had no voice/no power and my self-worth and confidence were in my boots.
You helped me to see that time heals, this too shall pass and I will be OK even if that means not returning to work etc. This year has been the hardest of my 47 years but FFS I can do hard things and I’ve got through 100% of my hard days so far.
Would you recommend the programme?
I would wholeheartedly recommend the programme to anyone and my biggest regret is that I really didn’t appreciate just how much anxiety was controlling my life until my life had to cease in its previous form to make way for my mental health.
The rewind technique has helped me to process and put to bed the birth trauma and car accident and perhaps I will try this again to deal with the trauma of the last year!
There is so much material that I still have to work on / reflect and joining the Motherhood Unloaded group has ensured that I can still tap in to your wisdom and humanity and saying its OK to feel shit some days.
Annie
– Mind Coaching

Annie* was part of one of my programmes. Here’s her experience.
*Annie- not her real name. Names have been changed to protect identity.
Why did you choose to work with me and the VIP 90 day Programme?
I worked with you previously and it helped massively but I felt there was still more you could help me with. I knew I was really comfortable with you, which was really important to me.
What were you worried about?
I think I said to you early on I was worried about not being able to get better and being stuck in that awful frame of mind forever. I have a very different attitude now.
How have you found the programme?
This sounds extreme but it’s been life changing, I know there are still periods that are difficult but I always know it will get better and I can take action to help myself.
What impact has the programme had on your life?
It’s made me a more positive and hopeful person – I know I’ll get through it because I have before and on your suggestion I’ve been keeping my evidence log which I refer to. (Some tough things I forget which really emphasises the power of one of my favourite lessons from you of asking myself will I give a f*ck about this when I’m 80? I’ve already forgotten a couple of months down the line! That realisation was big).
What helped you the most?
There were lots of tools you gave me in our sessions and having the variety of things that work in different situations has been great (journaling, talking to my parts, belief work, yoga, reading) and what also helped me was just having you in my corner and being able to speak to you when I was having a moment and not thinking clearly to remind me of some of the tools and really support me to change my behaviour patterns.
What was your biggest success?
Overcoming my health anxiety, it was having such a detrimental effect on my life and it feels very manageable now.
What have others noticed about you?
My partner and family have commented on how much better I seem to be doing. I’ve certainly noticed I’m not looking to them to seek reassurance like I was and I do feel like I’m a better more engaged and less shouty mum.
How did you find working with me?
I thought it was brilliant, it was exactly what I needed. The right amount of support and challenge and you have such a wealth of knowledge to share. Plus I think you’re just a lovely and genuine person!
Would you recommend the programme?
Absolutely – I have already!
Deborah
– Mind Coaching

Deborah* was part of one of my programmes. Here’s her experience.
*Deborah – not her real name. Names have been changed to protect identity.
Why did you choose to work with me and the VIP 90 day Programme?
I had heard about you through EGG and joined your mailing list, I danced around on the periphery for ages (in denial about how bad I was really feeling), but when I decided I was ready for talking therapy I absolutely knew that I wanted to go to you for help – so much of what you wrote and I saw on your webinar struck a chord with me as well as how warm, funny and approachable you seemed.
What were you worried about?
That I would work with a brilliant person who helped change things round for everyone else, but that I was somehow going to be the exception because I would do something wrong/wasn’t ‘fixable’.
How have you found the programme?
Without exaggeration, life changing.
What impact has the programme had on your life?
It has completely changed things around for me. There are countless things that are SO MUCH BETTER now – huge things like have more fun with my children and smaller things like not feeling overwhelmed by clothes and toys lying around!
What helped you the most?
Regular contact over a good length of time so things started to become habit and that I had this huge safety net and reassurance and that there was no pressure (to put on myself). Also having you there through Telegram – you were always quick to respond and always showed me there was a way regulate myself and feel better. Plus all the voice notes, resources, messages that I can go back to when I need them.
What was your biggest success?
Becoming unstuck. Not waking up every morning with a knot in my stomach. Realising I’m not a terrible/weak/insert-a-negative-adjective-here person.
What have others noticed about you?
That I am much less irritable and defensive.
How did you find working with me?
I loved working with you Tricia!! You are incredible at what you do. You were able to read me so well and your approach with me was just what I needed. I’m going to really miss you.
Would you recommend the programme?
YES!!! (I have already!)
Erica
– Mind Coaching

Erica* was part of one of my programmes. Here’s her experience.
*Erica- not her real name. Names have been changed to protect identity.
Why did you choose to work with me and the VIP 90 day Programme?
I’d worked with Tricia before for five sessions which I loved and really wanted to dive deeper into some issues. I really liked that there was support via chat in between sessions. I felt a good change could be made in 3 months.
What were you worried about?
I was struggling with exhaustion, feeling overwhelmed post pandemic, worrying about juggling being self employed and home life. The change from employed to self employed was difficult and I felt anxious.
How have you found the programme?
I found the programme really inspiring. It really challenged my beliefs and pushed me out of my comfort zone (in a good way) to make some changes. I liked the accountability and Tricia checking in to see how I was doing. I loved how diverse the topics were that we covered. I felt clear I’d got everything I needed out of it as we made a good plan at the start and covered everything.
What impact has the programme had on your life?
It’s changed my thinking. I am more rational. I’m able to see other perspectives. I am able to question whether something is true or a thought. I journal more as a result of it the programme also. I show myself more compassion. I have been able to allow myself space I need to develop my business which I wasn’t allowing myself. It’s given me energy. It’s been a space to safely let go of emotions and burdens.
What helped you the most?
Having a safe place to release emotions, being heard during difficult times, things being put into perspective – having a set back, kids being unwell.
What was your biggest success?
Asking for more childcare help so I have more time and energy.
What have others noticed about you?
Calmer, happier.
How did you find working with me?
Loved it. I laughed more than I thought I would. I find you insightful, relatable, super understanding, compassionate and nurturing. I really enjoyed our sessions. I will really miss working with you. I would love to work in the future with you as you’re the one person that has really helped me shift things and your approaches make a lot of sense to me.
Would you recommend the programme?
Yes definitely. There are no downsides. It’s such a powerful, amazing investment. It’s impacted my family and friends and most of all me for the better.
Kate
– Mind Coaching

Kate* was part of one of my programmes. Here’s her experience.
*Kate- not her real name. Names have been changed to protect identity.
Why did you choose to work with me and the VIP 90 day Programme?
I had got to know your work a little via Postpartum Plan and I valued and was interested by your approach and by your array of amazing qualifications. I felt ready to do the work, and had tried and exhausted so many other methods.
What were you worried about?
Whether it would work.
How have you found the programme?
Transformational, hard work (but that’s not a bad thing – just a reality), fascinating, empowering.
What impact has the programme had on your life?
It’s cleared the way so that I can live my life more freely.
What helped you the most?
The belief coding, learning to really trust in myself, Tricia’s incredibly calming accessible straight forward nature, but also her deep knowledge.
What was your biggest success?
Trusting in myself.
What have others noticed about you?
I haven’t asked my husband but now the programme has come to a close, I will. I know that you have seen an openness, confidence, belief come through which is wonderful to know and acknowledge.
How did you find working with me?
Easy, supportive, empowering, nurturing.
Would you recommend the programme?
Absolute YES.
Elizabeth
– Mind Coaching

Elizabeth* was part of one of my programmes. Here’s her experience.
*Elizabeth- not her real name. Names have been changed to protect identity.
Why did you choose to work with me?
I was part of one of your groups last year and found it so helpful and insightful and joined the masterclass you held in September.
I have spent much of my adult life seeking, reading, feeling there was something I wanted to heal inside of myself, that something just wasn’t right or as it could be. I felt like everyone else felt a kind of peace and joy in life, but that there was something holding me back. But reading books was probably never enough for the learning to “imprint” or for me to practice the knowledge which is why the coaching and regular practice of this course has been so good for me.
When I watched the masterclass I thought this is absolutely incredible and wanted to join as I am going through huge change in my life and I thought wouldn’t it be amazing to have this support at this difficult time.
I have always experienced a sense of not feeling good enough, feeling I have to work for people to like me, feeling a sense of anxiety in my body, experiencing recently health problems that I think are linked to my chronic anxiety.
What were you worried about?
I worried as part of the group sessions about speaking, being misunderstood and I suppose being judged. I worried about being vulnerable, sharing too much, dominating. I see that these feelings are from a traumatised part which fears having attention and being seen, so working through this has been a “live” part of the work for me.
How have you found the programme?
I’ve found it transformative and challenging. I’ve felt many breakthroughs as part of the programme. Strangely I didn’t identify as an “anxious person” at the start, for me the goal was working on my nervous system but I didn’t see the link necessarily between earlier trauma and how I have been feeling in my adult life. I now clearly see how anxiety manifests in my daily life and I have many tools to work with it.
What impact has the programme had on your life?
This programme has had a huge impact on my life, it is one of the best things I’ve ever done. It has freed me from a lot of heavy burdens which I’ve wanted to work on for so long.
I attended counselling a few years ago and told my counsellor what I wanted to work on, but she felt that wasn’t my “problem” I knew it was, but this course recognises trauma isn’t always the terrible trauma of abuse and neglect, but can be experiences from early life that still have a powerful hold on us. It’s given me a space to address things I don’t think I could have in other ways (reading books, talking therapy etc.)
I think this course has helped me grow up from living as a child to seeing there is an adult capable calm self within me. I have done this course at a time of huge change for me, where I need to let go of a lot of old “stuff.” It’s been such perfect timing for me and I am so grateful.
What helped you the most?
What helped me the most was the work on archetypes, realising that for me my “good girl” parts want to see me being brave and stepping out of my conditioning. The way for me to be a free adult is to live from my courage and values not my conditioning and recognising it is ok for me to have needs, building daily habits, realising I am making choices about my habits, parts was a huge shift for me.
There are parts of me that feel this way, but my self is peaceful and is an adult. Recognising my values mean more to me than conditioning and archetypes. Because I’ve been trying to heal myself for so long I have felt these teachings deeply because I was already open to a lot of ideas on personal growth. Like the soil was ready for the seed!!
What I’ve found so interesting is how my previous experiences are played out in seemingly unrelated ways like feeling anxious about a children’s party or my house being disorganised, this course has really helped me see the link and calm my anxious part and know I’m an adult now and I can cope.
I found it helpful to go back and look at my previous experiences to see how they were impacting my life now and I never could have done all that work and undoing things that felt so ingrained in me without your help. My traumas are not the big terrible traumas but I have been able to make the link between me getting stressed about something seemingly unrelated and hard experiences I had as a child, it’s been such a huge shift.
What was your biggest success?
My biggest success was really enjoying being alone with my daughters for 2 weeks, I felt energised and happy and fun. I enjoyed being a mum. I invited people to my house, I applied for a new job, I thought about the example I want to be as a person to my little girls. I show them I’m not perfect. I replied to my manager in an assertive way knowing I’m an adult. I came to accept that my parents are operating from their own conditioning and perception, I can’t control others opinions and views and behaviours. I don’t need others validation.
This course is the also the best parenting course I could do, I think it will have a huge impact on my girls development and on our relationship. I looked at my daughter last night and believed she will be ok with changes that are coming because I am more ok about it all.
What have others noticed about you?
What I’ve noticed more about me. I’ve started to shift more to a values driven outlook. I’m thinking about what is most important to me in my life. I feel a lot lighter. I say yes more to my daughters. I’ve been writing down things I do that fit in with my values so I feel I see myself in a better light as a mum.
My daughters have probably noticed me being more fun. Some people may have noticed I am not as much of a people pleaser and they may not like that!!
How did you find working with me?
I have found working with you to be fantastic. I really like that you have role modelled a lot of the teachings. That for me is so inspiring.
I love hearing about your care about progressive issues and that you admire female leaders, this makes me see I can be a mum and still be engaged in the bigger picture, not lose myself to the role of “mother” (Archetype of the mother who is 100% focused on home life.).
I loved what you said about a depleted mum being a shit mum!! It’s true, we can be so focused on the archetype we lose all sense of what our values really are. I really likes that you challenged me, I need that. I’ve loved hearing things you don’t care about and your humour.
Would you recommend the programme?
I would strongly recommend the programme and I have recommended working with you to friends. I have been given a huge gift. I hope this work reaches so many more people. I have been lucky enough to benefit from everything it promised, this course is clearly a labour of love from you Tricia, it’s worth all the books I could have read alone. I didn’t anticipate how reducing my anxiety (or understanding it) would create space for exciting new things in my life and a lot more confidence and happiness.
Kirsty
– Mind Coaching

Kirsty* was part of one of my programmes. Here’s her experience.
*Kirsty – not her real name. Names have been changed to protect identity.
Why did you choose to work with me?
I joined SOAR as I lacked understanding of how I was feeling and what I was feeling, and not sure whether I needed to go down the route of medical help or not. I was in search for answers as well as support and help.
What were you worried about?
I was worried about the group aspect and whether I’d get caught up in everyone else’s issues. Or possibly I’d realise that my anxiety was more deep rooted and would be harder to resolve than I had anticipated.
I was concerned I’d not have the time to commit given busy lifestyle and responsibilities. And whether it was really “me” and whether I’d come out with more “diagnoses” than I realised.
How have you found the programme?
I found the programme super helpful and so enlightening. I would agree with life changing and feel that I can continue to make progress to embed all the work I’ve done to make the life changes which will stay with me forever.
What impact has the programme had on your life?
It has affected every single aspect.
What helped you the most?
Accepting it’s not wrong to have anxiety, it’s not my fault I have these feelings, but I CAN help myself and I CAN change and I WILL. That I don’t need ‘treatment’, cures or therapy.
That anxiety is only a part of me and it’s not actually me – I am my SELF. That anxiety tries to help me, but it’s out of date and has listened too much to others and been shaped subconsciously by the world around me.
That it’s normal to have anxiety at times but that I can have it in a quieter and less active way long term, and that’s ok. I can still be ‘me’.
What was your biggest success?
Accepting that I do enough, I am enough, I have enough, I give enough…. I feel I’ve managed to stop battling with my striving part.
And definitely overcoming conditioning, previously called ‘education and career driving’
What have others noticed about you?
I hope that they will notice a calmer, more present and rational human being who is compassionate to herself as well as those around her!
How did you find working with me?
Absolutely amazing. I love how you work and I love your style, I honestly don’t think I would have had the same results with anyone else. Your encouragement yet straight talking and honesty is so refreshing, and your knowledge is incredible.
Would you recommend the programme?
I have already been recommending this programme to others because of the impact it’s had on my life.
Abbey
– Mind Coaching

Abbey* was part of one of my programmes. Here’s her experience.
*Abbey – not her real name. Names have been changed to protect identity.
Why did you choose to work with me?
I felt overwhelmed and stuck and could feel anxiety building and starting to feel out of control. I was keen to prevent a full blown storm!
What were you worried about?
I was worried I’d not having time to commit or follow through and juggling bedtime with the zoom calls.
How have you found the programme?
I found the programme really helpful. There were some things I was aware of and others were new to me. I found the group to be supportive and it was a helpful mix of theory and practical strategies.
What impact has the programme had on your life?
The programme changed my way of viewing anxiety and myself. Understanding it’s true purpose is to protect and keep me safe has been huge (and understanding that this can be limiting at times and starting to fight against it!). Also that it’s a part of me not the real me (ie the self).
I used to constantly fight against it and I have learnt to lean in and be more compassionate towards that part. Learning to have a dialogue with it and learning to trust which voice is genuinely helpful and which part is trying to stay in the comfort zone to avoid hurt.
What helped you the most?
I found the parts work for understanding myself and others. Knowing the theory behind why I need to prioritise time to calm and regulate my nervous system. It’s not a luxury, but a true need.
I liked the mix of videos and the group calls. Understanding that my perfectionist tendencies and avoidance are massively linked and becoming more and more aware/ conscious about these.
What was your biggest success?
Making changes at work- reducing my hours to have a better home/ life balance, getting clearer with my boundaries so I don’t over commit and end up letting people down, starting to get aware and putting energetic boundaries in place.
Also, I feel I have been a calmer and more compassionate parent. I have been prioritising rest and restorative activities when I can and I have let go of quite a lot of the striving, perfectionist parts.
What have others noticed about you?
Other have noticed that I am calmer, increased resilience, not getting ill so much! Blaming others less, taking more responsibility for my own actions and happiness.
How did you find working with me?
Great as always. Very supportive. I like that you are very questioning and get to the root of issues and beliefs. All done with such kindness but not being afraid to ask those difficult questions. Inspiring!
Would you recommend the programme?
100%. Already have!
Eve
– Mind Coaching

Eve* was part of one of my programmes. Here’s her experience.
*Eve – not her real name. Names have been changed to protect identity.
Why did you choose to work with me?
General and acute anxiety/overwhelm as well as residual effects from birth trauma.
What were you worried about?
Whether it would work and was a good investment in terms of the amount of money. Also to an extent sharing in a group.
How have you found the programme?
Amazing. Empowering. Supportive.
What impact has the programme had on your life?
The main impact has been to give me back autonomy over myself and my life, which in itself is allowing me to approach the same issues as before but with a different mindset.
I’m less stressed and overwhelmed, and find I’m able to make decisions more calmly and rationally without getting caught up in negative thoughts and behaviours. It’s really changed my life for the better
What did you feel were the best areas of the programme? What did you enjoy the most?
The group format. Sharing and receiving feedback. Seeing others going through the same issues. I also love the way the materials are provided and that they can be accessed forever afterwards. In terms of content I particularly enjoyed IFS, choice theory, nervous system and archetypes/beliefs.
What was your biggest success?
Addressing and greatly reducing intrusive thoughts and anxiety from birth trauma that occurred in 2016. Moving away from a victim mindset has also been huge for me.
What have others noticed about you?
That I’m calmer. I don’t react as quickly and lose my temper as much I would have previously in some situations. Also that I’m more confident and capable. I hope my daughter notices in time that it’s made me a better parent to her.
How did you find working with me?
Brilliant. I love the way you are so supportive and yet in a way that is very empowering. Not ‘fixing’ me, but giving me the knowledge and power to help myself. I’ve also loved the facilitation of the Telegram group and the regular check-ins plus prompts to celebrate wins. You’re also a very good role model for setting boundaries which I really respect.
Anything else you'd like to share?
Just a huge thank you. I’m so glad you do what you do as it really does help. I also appreciated the free anxiety bootcamp and still look forward to your email content.
Hannah
– Mind Coaching

Hannah* was part of one of my programmes. Here’s her experience.
*Hannah – not her real name. Names have been changed to protect identity.
Why did you choose to work with me?
I was going through a separation when bizarrely I felt calm once my ex had left, which then made me see how stressed out and anxious I had been in the years prior. I wanted to understand what had been going on to avoid going back to that place again.
What were you worried about?
Finding the time to do the work.
How have you found the programme?
Great. Insightful.
What impact has the programme had on your life?
It’s explained why I behave / react / feel the way I do, and given me lots of different tools to better control that going forward.
What did you feel were the best areas of the programme? What did you enjoy the most?
Anxiety Equation, SFQs, Beliefs, Choice Theory.
What was your biggest success?
I am actively sharing what I’ve learnt with friends / colleagues / family in general discussions, which just shows how simple it can be when you know how and means I’ve really learnt the theories if I can relay them so easily and enthusiastically with others.
What have others noticed about you?
Calmer.
How did you find working with me?
Brilliant. Always got a methodical logical approach to the questions / scenarios presented, which actively demonstrates how to use the tools and techniques live and in everyday life.
Anything else you'd like to share?
Thank you!
Yvonne
– Mind Coaching

Yvonne* was part of one of my programmes. Here’s her experience.
*Yvonne – not her real name. Names have been changed to protect identity.
Why did you choose to work with me?
I was experiencing extreme anxiety about everything and anything. Overthinking little things as well totally exhausting.
What were you worried about?
In the programme I was worried about keeping up and doing the work. Would I make the effort to do it what would stop me from doing the work. I was also worried about it not working and just being stuck and believing I am just an anxious person and I can’t change that.
How have you found the programme?
I loved the programme I would recommend it to anyone who experiences anxiety and have been recommending it already. I loved learning about anxiety and it’s roots why we have it, where it comes from. It makes so much more sense.
What impact has the programme had on your life?
It’s definitely made me realise I can be the person I want to be. It’s made me realise anxiety will always be present in my life but I now have the tools to deal with it a lot quicker and not get overwhelmed with it.
What did you feel were the best areas of the programme? What did you enjoy the most?
Belief systems really stuck with me and I hear people believe that this is just them and they can’t change and I then say no that’s just your belief.
Internal family’s systems was amazing visualising going back into memories and helping unburden them. Solution focused questions and daily scripts seem to be my go to when I have a big event on and these help me so much.
Anxiety equations (I can cope with this I have dealt with worse situations before) are amazing and I can pretty much do this in my head now when overwhelmed by a situation. I am so happy I still have to videos and slides to go back.
What was your biggest success?
Going to a big event that I was overthinking doing sfq’s and script about the event and it going exactly like the script, not being anxious just going to enjoy it.
What have others noticed about you?
My friends have noticed I’m calmer and happier.
How did you find working with me?
Amazing I knew I connected with you from the moment I watched the first video.
Anything else you'd like to share?
Thank you so much Tricia xxx
