We all know that feeling stressed out, day in and day out, is not good for our physical, mental or emotional health.
If you're feeling overwhelmed and stressed out, it can be difficult to know how to make a change. There are loads of ways that can support you - journaling, yoga, walking, meditation, mindfulness and so much more. For some, it could be a coffee with friends, for others it could be watching 'Friends' on repeat.
We live really busy lives and often find it difficult to stop that constant churning in our stomachs, often feeling we have no off switch, we have too many tabs open and there's always something to fill our time. When we feel like this it can start to manifest itself in various ways - always on the verge of tears, rage, emotional instability, anxiety, sleep issues and so much more.
We often don't have the ability to change our lives and we often don't want to.... but we can change how we feel in our lives and how we react to situations. It's human nature to default to our programmes and how we are conditioned to respond... we are lucky enough to have the ability to make that change and start behaving differently.
I'd like to introduce you to something new.
EFT - Emotional Freedom Technique, sometimes referred to as tapping. It looks a bit strange and weird to get used to, but if you do the work, and spend 5 minutes or more every day tapping, it can make big changes to you. EFT/Tapping is a relatively new approach that can help you to re-set your nervous system by hitting that pause button and start to develop new behaviours and shifts.
